In a span of 48 hours, Trump has issued an executive order to protect and increase glyphosate production then just today reversed stance on banning food dyes. So what has MAHA accomplished exactly if they are going to continue allowing corrupt food companies to sell glyphosate and artificial dye poison at supermarkets?

quote:

In a further retreat from its pledge to ban artificial dyes from food, Donald Trump’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that it would loosen labeling requirements to allow companies to state “no artificial colors”, even though products may contain some dangerous substances such as titanium dioxide.

Anger as Trump FDA retreats from plan to ban artificial colors in food

quote:

Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. defended President Donald Trump's executive order spurring the domestic production of the weed killer glyphosate, as his Make America Healthy Again movement reels from the president's embrace of the chemical they despise. Trump on Wednesday night signed an executive order invoking the Defense Production Act to compel the domestic production of elemental phosphorus and glyphosate-based herbicides

And would you look at that; our old pal Massie actually does care about our health and isn’t corrupted by Monsanto lobbyists
quote:

In response, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) drafted legislation to prevent the order’s implementation. Massie’s legislation also seeks to explicitly allow citizens to bring lawsuits related to exposure to glyphosate, the key ingredient in the frequently litigated Roundup weedkiller.

Massie seeks to undo Trump’s pro-glyphosate executive order

Starting to feel like the George Bush years all over again. The only way to get rid of the swamp is with guillotines. Trump doesn't have the stomach to take them on. What a complete waste.

You have chemical company lobbyist all over EPA leadership and their goal is extreme deregulation.

RFK and the majority of other concerned departments are in complete opposition to each other. I brought this up very early on and it was blown off.

The crew will announce their undying devotion to glyphosate soon - all because of Massie. They'll be demanding Thalidomide make a roaring comeback by Monday.

Well listen to the Teo and RFK podcast. If roundup was eliminated it would put 80% of the farmers out of business. There's no other alternatives at this time but they are spending money to find solutions. One being a laser system that has shown great promise but is very expensive.

Not sure if that is true. If it is then they need a phased in approach starting now. Feeding people poison to keep farmers in business isn’t a great trade off.

When has he not been, seriously? His most "conservative" decisions have only been barely to the right of 1990s Bill Clinton.

The Overton Window has shifted so far that only GenX can recognize this now. Even Reagan wasn't the most staunch "Republican".

We don't have to accept this. But we accept it nonetheless.

The same thing that happened to:

Getting us out of foreign wars
Deporting 15-20 million people
Cutting energy and electricity prices in half
Paying down the national debt

We need to ban Neonicotinoids. They have decimated the world's insect population since the 1990s. We are losing around 3% of all insects per year and have lost about 75% of insects in most of our lifetimes already.
