Watched Homefront last night, set in Rayville which was located on the ICW
How many movies did he make in Louisiana?

Homefront and The Mechanic were set and filmed in Louisiana. Wild Card was filmed in New Orleans but set in Vegas.

And the Expendables. I've been watching all the Statham movies I've missed over the years. Just watched Killer Elite last night as a matter of fact. Statham is a great action guy.

I re-watched the original Transporter recently. A lot less action/good driving than I remember. I think I was subconsciously combining driving scenes from Ronin and the Transporter as all being Transporter scenes. Expendables even my 75 year old ex MIL loved.

Dude plays the same character in every movie yet never fails to entertain.

Check out Operation Fortune on Prime. + I love how it took a fun jab at himself in Spy (2015).

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie. Melissa McCarthy cracked me the frick up with the physical comedy and her delivery and Statham did a great job as always.

Don’t be silly. Sometimes he’s an ex-bodyguard, sometimes he’s an ex-assassin, and sometimes he’s ex-special forces. Totally different

When the John Statham movies are better acted and more entertaining than anything else Hollywood put out since 2020? you know Hollywood is dead.

Watched Wild Card last night and it was very enjoyable. It was a remake of Heat with Burt Reynolds and Peter MacNicol(who was hilarious in the original and still remains a great actor). Also filmed partly in New Orleans but I couldn't see it by the setting.
Small roles by Jason Alexander, Anne Heche, and Stanley Tucci with Milo Ventimiglia as the main douche. I think Statham does the best hand to hand action in the industry. His moves are artful and seem to land swiftly and with impact. On to the next missed one.

i like the one where he's a regular guy former special forces just trying to live an unassuming quiet life but gets sucked back into fighting bad guys!

Transporter is probably my #1 guilty pleasure movie ever. No movie has ever made me cringe in embarrassment at how absolutely fricking stupid it all is while simultaneously making me hoot and holler and laugh my arse off at how much fun it is. When it was over I had the biggest shite-eating grin on my face.

Came here to say this. I laughed a lot more than I should have at the dialogue. Almost a caricature of himself but not really when you look at his resume.
