So much for the "nobody watches women's basketball" crowd. Not only did we have a PACKED and rabid PMAC last Saturday, we also had a large television audience. Wish we coulda won though!

LSU vs South Carolina Viewers!

Additionally, Ole Miss is expecting a huge crowd in Oxford tonight while hosting the Lady Tigers. By comparison, their game on Tuesday night versus Tennessee drew only 3,300 fans. The Lady Tigers are also filling other teams arenas when they come to town.

That’s crazy that many people flipped through ESPN 3 all at the same time.

I love the fact that you want that to be true so bad.

How many viewers does ABC usually get in prime time on Saturday night?

How many viewers for Sat night football at that time? NBA basketball?

How many viewers fix ESPN get? NBC? CBS? Fox?

It would be nice to compare the numbers.

College football.on ABC sat night averages 7.4 million viewers.

What would you MOTHERFLUCKING do averages 2 million, still more than the lesbos drew with their BEST MATCHUP POSSIBLE.

ABC should air the gals hoops game between Ole Miss and Kentucky on a Saturday night, and try to count the number of flies that watch that shite.

For the prior Saturday night on ABC
Lakers/Warriors (no Curry or Luka) did 2.47 million.

So ABC took a small ratings hit by airing the biggest regular season matchup of the year in women’s college basketball over a random NBA game.

I'm sure you could look that up.

How much money you think the athletic department lost during that game?
500K? 850K?

For comparison sake , college baseball World Series last year averaged 2.5 million.

So a regular season girls basketball game basically drew as many viewers as college baseball biggest stage .

comparing womens basketball to the best college sport is like comparing Brooklyn Decker to the fattest plus size model.

If the No. 1 and No. 2 college baseball teams play a regular season game on a major network they would maybe draw half of that viewership.

I could care less what "hit" ABC took. All that matters is that LSU got on a big stage, and that as many as 2.2 million people saw the BRAND.............................AND they saw a packed out PMAC to boot! Only positives on the LSU side of things. Hope they make it a regular event moving forward.

None actually, when you consider how much Saturday night primetime space would have COST the university. It was basically a free 2 hour long commercial for LSU..........................and it looked great!
