Baseball is really good, several big time transfers. Baseball gets all of the $ for the athletic department. Glad to see it paying off.

McNeese beat La Tech in baseball tonight 8-3

I am not happy about the loss.

Wait. What happened to La Tech BBB?!? It was a fairly active board for years. As someone from the area it was fun to lurk over the years. Better format than a lot of major university boards too.

Tech gave up five in the top of the ninth. There are some veterans on the staff right now that are going to have to step up if Tech will have success this season. Right now, they aren't.

I use to post there, not sure what happened to it.

Looks like they may have shut it down
I’ve been checking it every day to see if is up
I know several years ago there was a new site that started up called “ Bleed Tech Blue “ and most of posters went there but it’s a damn pay site

Back when I worked for Rivals I did a few articles on some guys that committed to LTU and even jumped on some radio show the editor of that site had on one of the North LA stations. Think the guys name was John Ford...or close to that back then, not sure if he still runs it, though I think Rivals has gone from standalone to Yahoo, and now maybe On3?!

I do not mind Tech doing well. I have friends there. Unlike USL, Tech does not seem to have small wiener syndrome.

Jake Slaughter joins La Tech Baseball
Title Assistant Director of Player Development (Hitting)
The 2017 "Jake Slaughter" Connection: During Game 2 of the 2017 CWS Finals, an LSU freshman named Jake Slaughter was involved in a pivotal, controversial play. In the top of the 7th inning, with LSU trailing 2-1 and runners on first and third with no outs, Slaughter (running for LSU) was called for runner interference for failing to slide properly into second base, which nullified a potential game-tying run. The Gators escaped the inning and went on to win 6-1

Even in a thread about Louisiana Tech, you bring up the Cajuns.
Rent free.
