Honestly it looks like he wanted to do another Evil Dead movie and they just took that script and added some Mummy elements to it.

“What was our daughter doing in a 3,000 year old sarcophagus“ is such a bad line I’m surprised it made the trailer.

I watched that trailer and still have no idea what this movie is about. Maybe that’s a good thing. Not sure what is “ mummy-like” about it except the sarcophagus and I assume it’s set in Egypt. Maybe the kid is possessed by the spirit of an evil mummy child?

If they change the title, I'm cool with it. Call it "Sarcophagus" or "Mummified" or anything else.

So when it comes out on streaming my wife’s gonna get all jazzed up to watch it, shes gonna make popcorn turn off all the lights in the house, 30 minutes in she’s gonna fall asleep and I’m gonna watch that creepy shite and have nightmares for three days
