Kent State just swept SLU in Hammond this weekend.

Could be a better test for our team than Milwaukee was. one caveat: I do not know what their pitching will be like playing games 4 days in a row.
We play Kent State Monday at 3pm at The Box.

We went through some pitching as well. I like 4 games in 4 days early on though. It’ll let you see where you are early on.
Not a huge deal, but I think game time is 6 pm.

I watched Saturday and Sunday games. Kent state can rake. And they didn’t throw a guy under 93. Very solid squad. 2 hole was 8-12 with 4 HRS

We theoretically should have plenty pitching available unless a bunch of guys just really aren't on their game. Certainly I would expect that we at least have more in the tank than they do. In any case a relatively high scoring affair would not surprise me.

They should've been a tournament team last year even though they choked in the MAC Tournament.
Went 23-7 in conference to win the regular season title and were one of the better offensive teams in the country.

We went to Friday night’s game, they’re just a better team 1-9 than SLU. Pitching, hitting etc. SLU had a pretty good little team last year but Kent St. was just a much better team IMO.

Didn’t get to watch every inning this weekend, did Noot pitch? If not could be a good place for a start tomorrow.

My guess is Noot starts tomorrow and Ricken starts against Nicholls on Wednesday. We still have quite a bit of pitching left to get us to next weekend in Jax.
