Something big is happening. The OT just refuses to acknowledge it

I’ve been posting about this and almost universally the OT laughs and mocks and says “it can’t take my job” but take it from an AI developer who even blown away at the pace and improvement in AI. And if it’s TLDR listen to it. Some of you will be fine if you’re already retired and have a good nest egg to live on. But if you’re still working and NEED that income…pay attention.

my valet said pretty much the same thing when I got a self driving car.

When the AI version of GeorgeTheGreek starts posting just watch out

AI isn’t taking my job. I wish it were capable of performing 25% of my daily tasks but it isn’t.

this is an interesting point you have made. The ideas and concepts you address are quite intriguing. A further and more detailed exploration of the subject may be in order.

There’s a good older plumber guy I’ve used for a couple home jobs, huge experience but small time, winding down. Should I see about starting a learning thing from him?

Of course A.I. is a big thing.
And the thought of it still being in its “infancy” can be scary but also fascinating.
No. It won’t replace everybody’s job…yet. We will never see it in our lifetime.
But this is one of those…internet…iPhone…kind of moments in history and to think otherwise is laughable.
People will adapt. Always do.
Edit: run my pst through ChatGPT and it caught an error.

Find an electrician to train you in his field.
It takes 7 years minimum to get a full plumber's license.

I’d like to see ai Ls swap a geo metro while crushing Busch lights, ripping darts, and jamming out to creed.

The economy will evolve and new jobs will become available. Don’t really think that AI is going to take 99% of the jobs? No. It will take some. Horse and buggy, robots on assembly lines, etc..
AI is still a long way off from being able to swing a hammer, install a new fuel pump, attract new clients to buy a product from your company instead of your competitors, etc..
It may get fairly close, but it will NEVER.be able to reason like a human. And AI still needs its human master to make it work.
