Sounds good. Quick question: What’s a Claudbot?

For those of us who don’t want to watch a video of this jagolope could you just provide a brief summary? Actually nevermind I’ll just put it in AI.

when you get the summarization, summarize that and post it here.

OpenClaw*
ETA: The summary is that someone released a tool called Clawdbot a week or two ago that you could connect to a bunch of your accounts and have it do things for you if you trust it enough and you communicate with it via chat apps like Discord/WhatsApp/Telegram/etc. Anthropic (makers of Claude) told them to back off the name so they changed the name to Moltbot at which point someone created Moltbook, which was supposedly a social media platform for all of these agents that people were creating. The internet lost its mind because it was having conversations about creating its own language to keep us from observing them, only to find out that some of it was actual people pretending to be the agents. People were buying Mac Minis like crazy run them on permanently, so those are sold out all over the place now. They changed the name again to OpenClaw, which is what it is now. It's still pretty powerful, but also requires a lot of trust.
There you go, you're more or less caught up on the last two weeks. The end.

The video introduces Clawbot, an open-source AI agent that runs locally on your computer and acts as a 24/7 autonomous employee. Unlike standard chatbots, this tool has zero guardrails and complete control over your mouse, keyboard, and applications. It features "infinite memory," meaning it retains context from all past interactions and doesn't need to be reminded of previous tasks or preferences.
You interact with the bot entirely through messaging apps like Telegram or iMessage, allowing you to text tasks to your computer from anywhere in the world.
In just 48 hours, the speaker used the agent to proactively scrape news for morning briefings, write code and push it to GitHub, and even build its own Kanban board to track tasks. He emphasizes that it can handle complex workflows, such as "vibe coding" entire applications or organizing files into a structured "second brain" without human intervention.
However, the creator issues a strong warning: because the AI has total system control, running it on your primary computer risks accidental file deletion or mishandling of personal data. He suggests using a dedicated machine, like a Mac Mini or a cheap VPS, to keep it contained. He concludes that while this tech could enable one-person billion-dollar companies, it also poses a significant risk of job displacement.

Newfangled iterations of AI are the great fraud of this decade.

Unless you are developer, ClawdBot is nowhere near ready for the gen public. You will fry your computer giving it the access it requires.

Yeah, whatever all that means. Just let me know when something crashes or when we gotta get the hell out of town.
