Lol. I was just joking but now that you mention it that could have been ratings gold. I certainly would have tuned in. I didn’t watch the halftime show or the game yesterday. Watching some dude dancing around in a dress and singing to me in a foreign language just didn’t move the needle for me. Plus I had no vested interest in the teams playing so I most certainly wasn’t gonna tune in to just watch Bad Bunny.

People are being stubbornly obtuse to be contrarian and hip.

People voted Trump in the first time, and the second time as well, because essentially they are tired of being overrun by the invasion of illegal immigrants. They told us we have to let them in, give them healthcare, let them have drivers licenses, change the schools so the teachers have to speak Spanish to their kids, all while they don't file Tax returns because they aren't here legally. (they also apparently voted him in in 2020 but that is a different thread)

No one is really confused as to the uproar they are just playing at it, including anyone in this thread. The American public doesn't dislike Spanish singers. shite they love Shakira, Santana, Christina, Enrique Iglesias, Rickie Martin and even Gerardo (the Rico Sauve guy). Macarena is played at literally every American wedding in the country.

Agreed on all points. I think the media did a masterful job, when they had a monopoly on information, of convincing right leaning people that they were the weird ones, the dying breed, the outsiders so to speak. Once that monopoly was broken and you had trailblazers that were willing to speak up on their right leaning values, I think people discovered that it was all a facade. It was all a control mechanism and they aren't weird or crazy. It became okay to be a right leaner. One of the results of this, though, has been that the far left has gotten even crazier and more demented in the face of a growing red populace.
