Hardly no one in the stands is close enough to see what they are doing and anyone watching a screen can read the close captions.
Virtue signalling?
Virtue signalling?

With some of these performances lately, I wish I was deaf.

Only a snowflake would worry about this.

Deaf people who can’t read closed captioning.
… clearly a huge subsegment of the population who need to be represented

It must be absolutely miserable going through life so full of vile and hate that you hate on the sign language person at the biggest sporting event of the year. Let some love in your heart my friend. You’ll likely live longer.

Guarantee groups get government funding to do this. Get paid $1,000 for a job that could cost $100 and benefit 0.01% of the viewers.

Gonna go pretty far out on a limb and say deaf people?

Virtue signaling at its finest.

It’s only to be inclusive for deaf, even though they’re too far or it wasn’t carried on the broadcast.

More annoyance at pointless, contrived gestures whose sole purpose is to allow people to pat themselves on the back

its only for the deaf people that can't read the subtitles

It's a liberal thing. That is why you only see a sign language person in blue cities when they have a mayor or sheriff talking about something.
