Smart, classy kid who shows respect to the greatest team of all time and knows it's absurd for anyone to make this comparison.

The 2019 LSU team I believe is the greatest college team to ever do it. I'm always going to believe in our defense, our offensive linemen, and our coaching staff. However, I honestly want to give my respect to 2019 LSU and want every member from that team to realize the respect our team has for them. We looked up to them. We actually had a couple plays installed from their offense that we scored touchdowns on.

We are lucky to have seen the two greatest teams of all time in college football in back to back seasons.

2019 LSU and 2020 Alabama.

The 2019 Bama team had a better QB and more talent than the 2020 Bama team, no question.

They wouldn’t beat 01 Miami hurricanes. That’s the only team that deserves to be In a debate with 2019 LSU.

Fernando could very well be a closet LSU fan who grew up watching LSU games because his maternal grandfather and his grandfather's 2 older brothers are all LSU alums.

The problem is nobody knows how good anyone was during that Covid 2020 season.

Players opted out, or got sick and couldn’t play, fans could barely attend games.

It was a mess that could only be navigated by a disciplinarian like Saban.

Kudos to him because he probably would have won it anyway but come on that wasn’t even his best team ever.

In a 6 or 7 years when we see what kind of NFL impact these Indiana guys have, we will have a better idea.

2019 Bama offense was better but the 2020 defense was a lot better

2019 LSU played and beat seven top 10 ranked opponents.

2020 Alabama beat seven teams with a record at or below 0.500

They aren't the same.

That settles it.

Also, hard not to like Mendoza. Future analyst.

No reason why that team needs to be put on the defensive after what they just did.

This seems like quite the difference in difficulty of schedule between the 2 teams. How in the hell could anyone even attempt to argue for 2020 Bama?

Out of curiosity, how do you know this insanely obscure fact?

This Mendoza cat is just so humble and clearly raised by amazing parents. He's proud in his faith and incredibly respectful.

Rooting for him.

Really hard to compare since they are nearly 20 years apart. The style of football changed a great deal in that period.
Miami didn't play any teams ranked in the Top 10 in the regular season. Their only top 10 win was against Nebraska in the Rose Bowl and it wasn't a typical Cornhusker team.
