Trash offense
Lol that was one of the most loaded offenses the world has ever seen or will ever see. They averaged 43 points a game and the defense gave up double digits in only 4 games all season. Ken Dorsey wasn't the greatest QB but he was good in college winning awards and a ton of games. The rest of the offense is just absurd:
RB - Clinton Portis, Frank Gore, Willis McGahee, Najeh Davenport
TE- Jeremy Shockey
WR - Andre Johnson
OT - Bryant McKinnie
You combine that talent with a defense made up almost exclusively of NFL talent and yeah, you get an all time great team. I think they are one of a handful of teams that could go toe to toe with 2019 LSU. If some random 2019 Auburn defense could keep it close then I'm sure '01 Miami would put up a fight.

Nice call kid. Even headed that respects the past. Some media pundits should take notes!

Classy guy and classy comment. Very refreshing answer. Very likable young man.

He certainly appears to be a good egg. Hope he continues this way but usually when you are raised like that it stays with you.

Why is he discussing 2019 LSU when tSECrant says 2020 bama is HANDS DOWN the GOAT of all GOATS.

Wow, class act showing respect and not some narcissistic response you would typically get from a WR. I like this kid more and more. Seems like a good dude with the right attitude to be successful in the NFL. I hope he does well.

Nobody outscores 2019 LSU period. That offense will always be the reason we'd prevail in these fantastical scenarios. Never say never, but you'll never see an offense and team record against the ranked opponents/conference champions/bowl winners we beat by an average of 20 points. Just cue up the greeny piece he put together on get up or whatever that sums it up rather succinctly.

Literally never had to play a single fricking snap in front of a hostile road crowd, in a season where numerous opponents suffered from opt-outs.
Total joke.

I agree.
I would say that those two are the two best of all time though.

Level headed, respectful, quite religious, and very talented.
It was easy for me to pull for Indiana over the gumps and canes.

Idk man 2019 bama defense was pretty stacked. 2020 got lucky that their only real injury was Waddle, and no big injuries on defense like having their D line banged up the whole year and having to rotate their linebacker corps. 2019 LSU clears both, though.

"Fernando could very well be a closet LSU fan who grew up watching LSU games because his maternal grandfather and his grandfather's 2 older brothers are all LSU alums."

When he retires from football, he could move to Louisiana and run for public office. He has a knack for speaking the truth.

And never played a true road game. Always remember Mac Jones was 0-1 as a starting QB in true road games.

2018 Bama was the best of those three years. They just ran out of gas vs Clemson. They didn’t really have a close game in SEC play until Atlanta.

Louisiana public office and speaking the truth. Does not compute, ha.

Most of those running backs sat the bench. Just because they were on the roster doesn't mean they were the player they turned out to be. McGahee and Gore didn't log a single stat in the National Championship game so that shows the role they played during that season.

In the 60s, there were always around 150 Cuban Refugees attending LSU and we all knew each other. LSU had a government loan program for us ($500 per semester, maximum $5000).
All 3 brothers were very good students, humble, well liked, and very intelligent.
His maternal grandfather Alberto was a good friend at LSU. My first wife (a Louisiana girl from Shreveport) wrote me on Jan 1 and asked me if it was true that Alberto was F.M.'s grandfather. I had no idea but I looked it up and found an internet story that verified it.
