My uncle was dying after years of diabetic complications. They would only let his kids and his newborn grandson and step-granddaughters see him through a closed window. He was declining badly and went unresponsive. Two hours before he expired, they finally let just my three cousins into the room.
I will never forget, and I will never forgive.
