Pence wasn’t one of my favorite people but he’s right on some issues such as this. And he gained my respect and gratitude by abiding by the constitution and doing his duty by ratifying the election despite death threats from trump and his minions. He’ll be viewed as an American hero in the history books.

If the constitution rendered the VP’s role in certifying electors purely ministerial, why did Congress need to pass a law after the 2020 election to clarify the law?
