Unbelievable defense. Number 3 is a special player.

Duh! Johnson isn’t the same player as the last two years. She is too worried about what is going on outside the game.

We look tired.

This team destroys competition in transition. Very little of that tonight.

We will be OK.

Carolina or Texas will win the SEC and we will NOT mainly because we faltered in our first two SEC games.

The best we can do is earn a #2 seed and make it to the Elite Eight again. Beating UCLA or UConn would be a very big challenge for this team.

Carolina on Feb 14 will be a big game for us.

No…she’s trying to be something she’s not, and it has absolutely nothing to do with off the court issues. Her experience playing for Team USA changed how she viewed her game, and now outside opinions have pushed her to play beyond her natural skill set instead of leaning into what actually made her successful.

They are better inside. That's it.

If they are allowed to fouls us the entire game and then we get called for ticky-tack bullshite, then it's going to be a long night.

Harmon was amazing. She's always good but she's not always that good. She dominated that game.

This isn't complicated to me. The game was allowed by the referees to be extremely physical, which is very much to the benefit of Texas. When Texas hedged on screens for Williams or Johnson, the defender hedging was allowed to basically hockey check them and I don't think it was called one time the entire game. It will be difficult, if not impossible, for this LSU team to beat Texas if the game is called that way. If they play again (in either the SEC or NCAA tournament), how the game is officiated is going to be huge.

I'm glad to hear that. I honestly thought it was terrible how physical the game was allowed to be. Give credit to Texas for taking advantage, but we were up against it tonight.

And yet, just like the first game, we outrebounded them AND scored more points in the paint.

They're not "better inside" by any measure. They did do an extremely good job on their perimeter defense vs our guards, however.
