Tidbits:
- There was a team meeting this morning to discuss how this new group can come together and be successful.
- Kiffin acknowleged GM Billy Glasscock's role in helping build the new roster and overseeing the entire program. Kiffin says that he and Glasscock are on same page and think alike.
- Kiffin received very positive feedback from players and parents about how well Baton Rouge (hotels, restaurants, Tiger Stadium, campus, people, etc) made them feel.
- On Sam Leavitt: He is still recovering from foot surgery...will be able to participate in some 7 on 7 drills in the spring, but not full team drills.
- Lane says he is competitive and won't hesitate to get on a plane to try to land a recruit who has told LSU "no"...
- On TJ Dottery (LB transfer from Ole Miss): he is an alpha and a leader...overcame some personal adversity to get to where he is.
- Kiffin not worried about retaining young talent after next season...he thinks the relationships he and staff will build with the players coupled with the resources at LSU will make it hard for them to leave...

The level of awe he has for the program, the aura it puts out.
I think even he is still star struck by the program and cant believe he's the head coach of it.
