My wife seems to think so but when I use her vehicle I do like listening to Underground Garage or The Dead channel

We’ve had it for a long time. Would hate to give it up.

I had it for a long time. I cancelled then got a 3 month free trial just to see if I regretted cancelling. While I do enjoy it at times, it's just not worth it to me as i would rather spend money on a music service where I have more control. The biggest problem I have with it is I cannot be happy with one station long and am constantly having to change stations. The biggest reason for that is, they handle my two favorite genres terribly. Their 80's alt is too shallow and too synth heavy. They have no true home for alt country.

Yes. We have it in two cars. It’s especially great for road trips and listening to live sports while on the road.

I use the phone App while I’m at work. You can stream the same stations and then there are additional stations that dig a little deeper into genres.

Its cheap. And when they raise your monthly note, they make it easy enough to contact them to bring the payment back to where it was.

There are a ton of channels. I normally listen to Lithium, Ozzy's Boneyard, Rock the Bells, or Rock Bar.

30+ years ago (1994) I purchased a lifetime membership to XM satellite radio, cost was $300. Membership transferred when XM merged with SIRIUS. I travel for a living and one of the best investments I even made. I listen in the car, at home, and at work using the app

I had to for a while but I’d rather pick my own music to listen to, plus Spotify has all kinds of playlists that are better than flipping stations imo.

Yes, it's worth it. Had is since 2003. Have it in 2 cars and is great for commuting or family road trips. Since I work from home now, I find my self using the app on my phone to stream to speakers in the house, etc. The app use is part of your subscription. At one point, I removed a xm tuner from a car. Had it in storage for a year and had service disconnected from it. Had it installed in another car and turns out service was still live on the tuner. I hadn't paid anything for the service, nor did I turn the service back on. I proceeded to enjoy free XM in that car for 13 years until I sold the car and the tuner was too old to connect to any new head units.

Yes. Lots of different stations playing rock and roll, reggae, rap, jazz and country that I like. Tom Petty's Hidden Treasure channel is gold for discovering "new" music. I Shazam songs constantly when i hear new stuff i like. You can listen by genre or decade. Five or six comedy channels (stand up routines are really good). And then you have college football, pro football, fantasy football, EPL, and every other sport. It is a must for long trips. Apple Car Play + Spotify can cover a lot of this stuff but it won't be as current or interesting.

I had it for a long time, but not sure why anyone would have it today with streaming music.

if you do any driving out west, there are long stretches of highway with little/no service.
so unless you have the music downloaded to your phone, those services don't work well.
Satellite radio is the way to go in those spots.

I had it for years on a couple cars and it got to be $50 plus a month then I’d get it reduced. Got tired of playing the games and went with just the app for $5.99 then that jumped to $12 and I canceled it.

Haven’t missed it one bit. Had it for probably 20 years or close to but Howard turned into a pussy so that made me lose interest in it also.

I canceled it 15 days into a free trial because the sound quality is Sofa King bad.

I have an iPod with all my music and multiple thumbdrives with different playlists. The sound quality is better and I can choose whatever I want.

Yes, this makes a lot of sense. I use Youtube music and it is constantly adding to what is already downloaded, but I do not know how many minutes it holds. I have had to use that feature at Toledo Bend before and never ran out of songs, but couldn't tell the number of songs or time duration.

Edit, I just looked. It's 250 songs 1.17 GB.

This describes my state perfectly. There are vast areas without cell service.

Unless you like country music on AM radio.
