well no one golfs with their mom or grandma. So let’s just agree that no women are around

Was going to say 8. I’m okay with 9 though.

I went for a “profanity fitting.”

No combination of dirty words made my contact better or changed ball flight.

It took most of the day, but now IF I hit it fat I just say “is that what you mean by using the ground?”
Instead of imitating Yosemite Sam.

The answer is don’t embarrass yourself. Keep it low volume and limited to a couple of words or phrases. Throwing a tantrum is never okay. Do not do things that may disturb other players.

I grew up in a household within which it remains totally unacceptable and uncouth to use swear words around your elders, generally speaking.

Mines 15… I see him mouth some cuss words when in bball games. I won’t promote it, but understand. Still explain why you shouldn’t.

Tell him to learn to play better and he won’t have to curse. When he gets older, he will know it will never happen.

at our CC if he swears around other members I’d beat his arse. If he is his own member, he can do whatever he wants.

This rule stands strong in our family because I learned this rule from a multi major winner when I was about 15/16 and my dad was shown the exit mid round. Harshest lesson I’ve learned on a golf course.

I say if you’re old enough to golf, you’re old enough to curse on the course. To have a love hate relationship, you have to keep showing up and letting it know how passionate you are that your driver is a POS!

Just be glad the kid is on a golf course and not holed up in his room playing video games and debating his gender!
