Grabbed a freeze frame of this off of Facebook. We all know how one of the kings of New Orleans radio in the 1980’s has devolved into a strange little fellow. So is this Scoot or some old lady.

True story…went to see The Egyptian Lover at Southport Hall a couple of years back. Scoot was there with an OT 9 by his side. I was very confused.

I liked the story of him going to a Saints @ Cowboys game way back with some radio listeners who won a contest on a private jet

I wanted to post a YouTube video of Scoot’s old TV dance show from the 1980’s. Someone uploaded a copy of it a few years ago and was probably taken down due to copyright restrictions on the music.
I think was called Aircheck. It was a half hour or hour show produced by WDSU. I don’t know if it aired or was just a pilot that never got off the ground as most TV dance shows were starting to wane as MTV started to gain in popularity.

I can’t believe Scoot had devolved into what he has and still able air mid morning on the powerhouse of the gulf south.
