Man, that’s the truth! There are negatives in the old way - a woman who got into a bad marriage could not get out very easily, and the minority of women who did not want the traditional family were discriminated against. But on average it was much better for everyone.

Look at what we’ve lost. Women are unhappy. Men are unhappy. Children are poorly raised, and we are not having enough of them. The low birth rates are causing us to import cultural misfits, which is destroying our culture.

People always want what they don't have. If people would learn to appreciate the things they have, and build off of that; they would be eternally happy.

it is a science fiction notion that only works in theatrical notions.

Are there places for 'independent women' in the real world? -- of course - but it is an individual achievement rather than a 'goal' imposed for all young girls to emulate. And they make for great inspirations for other girls.

There are places for 'househusbands' too - but it is solely an individual trait rather than one imposed by outside influences. And they make for good comedy movies.

Biggest mistake of this country was allowing the most unhinged group the ability to vote!

All of the problems plaguing our culture today can be traced back to the systematic destruction of the traditional family.

For those of you in Rio Linda, please let me define traditional family - one biological male and one biological female bound together in a covenant marriage. The couple proclaiming their love and commitment to each other before God, family, and friends. The Church for her part conveying God's blessing on the couple. That was the model that existed from the beginning of time. It was the model my parents and ancestors practiced..........and for the most part, everything worked. At least in my town, state, and region divorce was nonexistent or rare.

But about the early 50's on I saw the poison slowly destabilizing our culture. It started with the introduction of the birth control pill, which brought on explosive promiscuity, which brought on abortion, which led to the codification of abortion by a democrat SCOTUS which led to the hook-up culture.

I can pinpoint the exact moment this country "officially" went off the rails - January 22, 1973. Roe v Wade. Sure, SCOTUS undid the key components of Roe v Wade, but in my mind it's too little too late. The demon has been let out of the bottle. I pray I'm wrong.

Here's the really bad part. So in order to create the argument to justify this lunacy the liberal progressives invented Moral Relativism. Moral Relativism = the rise of situational ethics and the death of Absolute Truth. I recall the "God is dead" insanity of that era. The purpose of Moral Relativism? Replace "Absolute Truth" (aka God) with relativism. Unfortunately, it worked.

Which brings me to say - unless we can figure out a way to bring back that family model of the past - this country will continue to descend into ruthless violence and .............. anarchy.
