ICE was funded for many years to come through the OBBB passage. Any talk about this stalemate negotiating crap "being about ICE" is pure hogwash. That's just the narrative being given by both sides as they put their heads together to find more ways to launder pork back into their bank accounts.
The country is on the brink of an actual civil war, discourse is dead because both "sides" of the American voters have had it with each other, and these elite DC clowns are laughing at us because we're about to give them their excuse permanently seize full power.
I hope you all see what's actually happening here. We're being played, as usual.

ICE was already funded. It got $19 billion in supplemental funding last year and will get another $19 billion in supplemental funding this year. And the same next year and the next. That is from the BBB funding. They're wanting more supplemental funding on top of what they are getting.

That's not why the GOP will get shellacked in November. The rout is inevitable because America detests the extreme right, lunatic fringe veer the Republican party has taken since Trump's second term began. The reps of both parties vote according to their constituencies. America is basically centrist; moderate. And a majority of the country deeply resents ICE.
