Wendy's wanted to charge me $0.65 for an extra sauce...

I ordered 2 biggie bags for my wife and son, and a 6 piece spicy nugget for myself.
For those that don't know, the biggie bag comes with a 4 piece nugget.
I get my food and check the bag and there are 3 BBQ sauces in there. I asked for a fourth sauce.
The "lady" working the drive through informs me, "3 nuggets, 3 sauces."
I counter her point with, "Yeah, 1 sauce is perfect for a 4 piece nugget, but I have 2 four pieces and a 6 piece. I'd like an extra sauce for the 6 piece."
She says that'll be 65 cents extra.
I counter again with, "How many sauces do you get if you order a 10 piece?"
She says, "two".
So I wrap up my closing argument with, "So 4 piece gets 1 sauce, a 10 piece gets 2 sauces, but a 6 piece, which you acknowledge has more nuggets that a 4 piece, gets the same amount of sauce?"
She confirmed.
I said, "Okay, just ring it up."
When she came back from the register to collect the money I drove off and hit her with the 1992 classic. "Psych!!!"
Is an extra sauce going to break the company?

Hell McDonald's charged 25 cents to put mayo on a burger.

If you in Louisiana that’s “strong armed robbery”
“the unlawful taking of property from a person using physical force, violence, or intimidation (fear) without the use of a deadly weapon.”
Driving off in a vehicle counts as physical force down here

Yes

Well it is extra
Is it really extra or just an appropriate amount of sauce?
I bet people get sauce they don't even use.
It was the principle of the matter. I've asked for an extra sauce many times in the past at this particular location because this is a common order for us and I never got any pushback.
When she hit me with the first blunt response of "3 nuggets, 3 sauces." I knew the battle was on.

So did you get the sauce or not??

Ask them how much more it costs to make the food fresh.

I did not. I had an extra leftover in our sauce drawer at the house.
My small victory was making her ring it up knowing I was never going to pay.

Thanks for telling us you're fat.

That particular Wendy’s could have recently had a “food cost” arse chewing from corporate… the person working there could probably care less about just giving it to you… but that ain’t how business work though
