Sorry. Mayo should not be an upcharge. Lettuce or tomatoes or cheese sure. Mayo no. I worked there in my teens. We never upcharged for mayo, mustard, or ketchup on a burger

Wendy's is the fast food place that might be most guilty of shrinkflation. The JBC these days is the size of a woman's fist. It's sneaky, and businesses aren't supposed to be sneaky, unless it's a shitty business.

It might be time to pause, reflect and think about life.
Nuclear fission (sun) in sky sends waves / particles (light) at 299,792,458 meters per second to Earth for complex bio systems (plants) to create oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide based upon fungi and atmospheric balance…as basis of Earth’s food chain…that leads to Wendy’s sauces. could go on and on.
Meanwhile, you were shorted 1 BBQ sauce.
Dark matter says take a breath, Baw.

get my food and check the bag and there are 3 BBQ sauces in there. I asked for a fourth sauce.
The "lady" working the drive through informs me, "3 nuggets, 3 sauces."
I counter her point with, "Yeah, 1 sauce is perfect for a 4 piece nugget, but I have 2 four pieces and a 6 piece. I'd like an extra sauce for the 6 piece."
She says that'll be 65 cents extra.
I counter again with, "How many sauces do you get if you order a 10 piece?"
She says, "two".
So I wrap up my closing argument with, "So 4 piece gets 1 sauce, a 10 piece gets 2 sauces, but a 6 piece, which you acknowledge has more nuggets that a 4 piece, gets the same amount of sauce?"
She confirmed.
I said, "Okay, just ring it up."

A) Wendy's is in significant debt problems and is trying to penny pinch their way out of it, couple this with the dividend cuts and you see why their stock closed below $8/share when it was $30 during covid. Their stock is legitimately cheaper than a single meal.
B) You're haggling over 60 cents.

I’ve noticed this recently at the Wendy’s in the NOLA area and it’s infuriating. The food is bad and over priced and now you want to change me an extra.50 for sauce. Screw that.

So they give a sauce out for ever 4-5 nuggets.

Spends $50 on shitty fast food.
Bitches about a .65 sauce container.

Hell McDonald's charged 25 cents to put mayo on a burger.
I will have to check my orders. I usually add mayo to my quarter pounders or double cheese burgers and have not seen and add on cost for Mayo.
Typically they would charge for packaged sauce like nugget sauce, but the condiments in the kitchen are typically not charged.
Fun little food fact. The mayo, Big Mac Sauce, and Tartar Sauce come in tubes and shoot out sauce with something that looks like a caulk gun.

Just pay it and move on fatty..

I’d gladly pay the 65 cents to get my 30 seconds back.

quote:Not only is extra sauce free at CFA, they even deduct from the price of an item if you remove something (i.e., tomatoes). It's not much--like $0.20 or so--but, it's surprising every time I see it on a receipt.
But extra sauce is free at CF.
Also, in the TMI category, young FCP was raised on a farm with 1,000+ tomato plants annually. Something about feeding a metric ton of the "defectives" from that many plants to the chickens caused the smell of tomatoes to be a gag-reflex worthy event.

Boosie talks about when McDonalds wouldn't give him extra jelly.
