If tweet fails to load, click here. Interesting little nugget there with Nix saying he shouldn’t be talking about his history

Anyone that matters will already know this before they talk money. I’m assuming that’s where the concerns are coming from and not some “social stigma” about ankle surgery? Lol

Nix sounds kinda like a bitch here

I think Bo’s days are numbered in Denver and maybe the nfl. Sounds like his ankle is going to continue to be a problem and he won’t be getting a second contract.

When you have an injury history in a place like the nfl I think the one thing you don’t want to do is get on your employers bad side…

You are right. He’s a bitch with $250+ million reasons on the line. Everyone on this board would be a bitch here.
I don’t know all the behind the scenes details by any means. But you could also say Payton is being a dick and airing dirty laundry to save some cap space

lol. He maybe won’t get as big as one, and that’s why he is pissed here potentially. But there’s 0% chance he doesn’t sign a contract with someone.
Who are the broncos going with? Fridking Stidham? lol

He sure is playing the long game then since it'll be two years before he might sign an extension.

Payton made Nix a lot of money. He should stfu

Maybe, maybe not. Plenty of QB's sign after year 3. Allen, Herbert, Burrow, Lawrence, Hurts more recently.

I like Payton, but you could also argue Nix has saved Payton’s. Take out a HOF qb and what has Payton done?
ETA: my point is they should be working together here

A bit more about this
LINK
A friend had an ankle injury, a break. It was repaired, but a year later found to have restricted blood flow. It had to be repaired by a second break and an extended period of non-use to repair it. The second time seems to have worked. I have no idea if Nix's situation is anything like this, but for the Broncos Inc. they have to be worried for his future with them.
If it happened because he landed on one leg and not both........... isn't that likely to happen again?

Take out a HOF qb and what has Payton done?

I don’t recall anyone claiming Drew Brees was a HOF qb when San Diego dumped him.

Medical evaluation + Rivers
Brady has said he wasn’t as good in his 20s as his 30s nor 30s compared to 40s
How about Sean fielding incompetent defense for 2/3rds of Drew’s career?

Put Nix in Tennessee, Chicago or Washington last season, NYJ etc
They don’t come close to the playoffs. He should be grateful Payton and his stupid hubris struck again and wanted to prove to everyone he could win games with the scrappy QB of the class.

Kind of a dick move on Payton's part to discuss Nix' medical history openly like that. It's not his business to put out there.

Especially since Peyton aired out all his dirty laundry.
