LSU baseball is not playing a single regular season game in the state of Texas?

Am I seeing that right? Boy that was a miss by the schedule makers. At least give us a midweek game at UH or Rice.
Many LSU folks in Texas look forward to a chance to see them play closer to home and won’t get that this season. Not even playing in Norman either.

The closest thing I see to Texas is a midweek game @ UL Lafayette. Wednesday March 4th

Pretty sure Jay has said in the past that he likes playing teams in Texas even Dallas Baptist. It’s a big recruiting opportunity

Yep, that won’t even happen because for some reason LSU & Texas doesn’t play each other this year unless in SEC tournament. Idk how Texas avoided having to come to Alex Box this year

Hell LSU baseball hasn't visited Florida in over three years suck it up fella. lol. We got LSU baseball upcoming in February in Jacksonville and you better believe I will be there with my crew. I did see the local first coast tiger alums just put something out. Hopefully all the tiger fans in this area will fill the seats. I got tickets for the whole weekend. LFG

Dunno why you are being down voted. Lots of alum and tiger fans in DFW and Houston that would love to see us play without having to drive all the way to BR.

How about the people of Texas get off their lazy asses and come support LSU in its hometown/state?

Jay doesn't owe the state of Texas anything.
You can meet up with the team in Omaha.

LSU needs to worry about winning. Not about where they are playing.

I'll be in Jacksonville

I think the ULL game is sold out,

Jay picked a tournament in Jacksonville to give the players a weekend in the eastern time zone to prepare for SEC road trips to places like Tennessee.
Worrying about where they play is worrying about winning.

Are you just now figuring this out? the schedule has been out since like September.
I am a season ticket holder that lives in DFW that still makes a decent amount of games. But working for an airline helps ;)
And going to Norman for a LSU game is not really that exciting.
I still can't believe how great the weather was when LSU played 3 games in Frisco and 1 in Arlington last year. It was nice to be able to drive 30 minutes and be at a game.

People are asking idiotic prices for them on the secondary market, but they are available starting around $180.

I don't think anyone is suggesting Jay "owes" TX a dime.
LSU has massive alum bases in Houston and DFW. We have 8 players on the roster from Texas this year (by comparison 11 from LA and only 1 from FL).
We've been blessed (spoiled?) for the last few years to have games here. And we come out in force when we play in TX - be it Houston, Round Rock, Frisco, or Dallas.
