It’s really incredible to watch libs champion the 2a all of the sudden. I guess whatever you have to do to continue virtue signaling to all of society.
But conveniently leaving out pertinent information is your downfall. For example, I carry, but you would not find me in a situation like this with law enforcement. Yes you heard me. As a responsible gun owner, I have to the power to avoid putting myself in this situation

There are lots of things I could do within the letter of the law that are incredibly stupid and likely to lead to death.
Not saying he was operating legally, just giving your argument the benefit of the doubt.
Carrying a weapon brings great responsibility and requires judgment and decision making. You also should never engage law enforcement while carrying a weapon.

Everyone seems to ignore that there were 2 factors.
1- he was armed
2- he engaged law officers
if he had done 1 and not 2, he would have been fine.

I would never carry while going to a protest where there is a likely chance I will end up in a confrontation with police. I don't understand the thought process bringing one to something like this. My guess he was a soyboy who thought he was going to impress his peers by carrying gun.

What you are forgetting, is with the current details we know if he would have done 2 without also #1 he would be alive.
I’m still waiting on more evidence. It’s still possible he was going after another officers gun or something of that nature.

I’ve carried almost every day I’ve been outside for the last 18 years and don’t seem to have a problem with getting shot by federal law enforcement. Nor am I worried about it.

The 2nd amendment doesn’t give someone the right to break other laws or obstruct justice just because one can lawfully possess a firearm. It doesn’t make every other action they take legal or smart.
