They say the man, police identified as Aaron Matthew, attempted to flee in the boat before docking and fleeing on foot, where he was apprehended by officers on the scene.
Video shared with WWL shows the yacht crashing into several sailboats at the harbor. The footage also shows the large personal yacht going into reverse and proceeding to leave after smashing into the sailboats.
Mathews was arrested and booked with Theft in the amount of $500,000 and Simple Criminal Damage to Property in the amount of $70,000.

Damn. Sailboats take damage easy too.
I lost control of mine in a storm and cracked the hull. But glass is easy to repair.
Luckily i wrecked into a coast guard dock and they helped me out but also did an inspection. Lol

There is now updated info from the police. Apparently, there was set of step brothers on board named Brennan and Dale.
