Obviously has been an amazing transfer portal that exceeded anyones expectations. We are definitely spoiled and can now relax and enjoy the ride. This is just for fun and can rank many different ways with all the talent at each group. Very hard to make a decision at this point with new players but can enjoy the process of figuring out this new team

1-QB
2-DB
3-LB
4-DE
5-RB
6-TE
7-OL
8-WR
9-DT

If WR is 8 we are truly fricking stacked

I’d move OL up to 4 or 5. There are 7 starting caliber players now with two or three potential all-SEC.

I think TE is stronger than running back. The offensive player that opposing defenses will be game planning for is Green.

Agree that DT is probably the one area they may have some question marks

The two from auburn and Clemson will be key to shoring up that area

Anderson might take a little time to adjust to sec play

For sure it’s my only area of slight concern. Don’t know much about the 2 transfers from Clemson or Auburn and Mckingley is the only returner with significant playing time. I hope the 2 stud freshman are able to contribute late in the season.

RB way too high. Who is proven?

Yeah RB might be one of the lowest

Our now competent offensive line should help with that as far as run blocking.

I think there is talent and depth there, biggest issue with RB last year was more due to play calling, scheme and O-Line. I just think Harlem Berry will be a top 3 RB in terms of production in the SEC for 2026

I’d argue that both Berry and Durham have shown enough that you don’t need to worry about RB.

1.DB
2.WR
3.OL
4.QB
5. DE
6. RB
7.TE (I factor green more as a WR honestly)
8. LB
9.DT

DT and LB are the question marks

QBs will be lethal if healthy and our OL and WR groups are that strong

Lanes teams have had the #1 offense over his 6 years at OM combined. We’re going to be stout on offense. Don’t see us getting blown out in any game like we were every season at one point or another under BK

Not quite sure why you’re taking this cynical stance, but ok.

Seaton
Harper
Moore
Bah
Davis
Thomas
Strey
Thompkins

So actually it may be 8.

It depends on what you consider “starting caliber” to mean. If it’s proven plug and play then no but if its have the talent and now development to get in and not look like Chester? I think that’s easy.

We have one returning solid SEC starter (Moore) and 2 proven plug and play guys coming in (bah and Seaton)

That fills out 3/5 spots with proven big time talent.

Additionally you have a guy Thompkins who started at LT for a big 12 team.

I think when you combine things like improved development and growth and maturity you can count on 2-3 guys from Devin Harper, Weston Davis, Solomon Thomas, Strey, Juco guy Jones that you are going to have a minimum 6 guys probably 7.

That’s why Seaton was so big. You go from having to squint hope and pray that at least one if not two of Harper davis or Strey takes a big step forward to take over LT and possibly RT depending on where you put Thompkins then have Bah and then….thomas…Thompkins at guard.

It would be a similar position to 2025 except with a better scheme and coach.

You said “starting caliber”. Several of these guys have never played a down. Choose your words better

When many of them have not played a down yet, that’s a hell of a statement for him to make

Ok, this is semantics. Had I said “proven starters,” you’d have a point. Caliber means they’re able to perform at a starter level based on talent and eval.

Come on, this is stupid.

Dude, at LB you have 3 of the top 5 returning tacklers in the SEC.
