One of the best lines I've ever heard was about this very subject. Getting out of a movie I went to the men's room and there were two old dudes at the urinals. One looked over at the lower urinal and said to his buddy 'that must be for someone who is really short'. The other dude waits a beat and says 'or someone who is really long!' Then they both started laughing like the Statler and Waldorf (the two old guys in the balcony on Sesame Street).

Maybe I’m weird, but when I’m in a public restroom, I’m focused on what I’m doing, what I’m using, and I GTFO as fast as possible.

I’m not sizing up the guys around me and observing their selection of urinals, but again, maybe I’m the weird one.

I’m 6’3” but use the lower and still hit the water - I need one in the floor.
