Well they better get their checkbook out now. Bama is toast! They can’t keep up with the Texas teams, LSU and UGA. Bama is no longer a destination.

Shane Beamer is a dead man walking unless his OC hire turns the offense around

LOL. For years, oh Bama has the highest payroll, now it’s they can’t afford anybody. Which one is it? I can’t wait to hear the excuse when we win our next national championship because you can’t use money anymore. I guess the black warrior will have some mystical power in it or some BS.

Bama will always be a top 3 job in America. I wouldn’t beat my chest so hard over getting a coach that didn’t even get an interview when the blueblood jobs came open. Saban told Byrne that Lane didn’t need to be in charge of a program like Bama. It would be too much. You’re gonna find out Nick didn’t do you the solid you think he did.

That may be true but the Gumps consider 4 loses (even with playoffs) unacceptable therefore HOT SEAT!

His buyout will still be pretty steep and the buyout money would simply be better spent in the portal or roster. Depending on how you look at it, Byrne either did a very smart thing or made a massive blunder by almost ensuring that DeBoer would get a guaranteed 4 or 5 years to get through the transition from Saban. bHe structured the contract where it would be nearly impossible financially to get rid of him earlier than 4 years into it.

Realistically, looking at a very young roster and another tough schedule, 3 or 4 losses is the most likely outcome next year.

DeBoer will likely get through the '27 season to make a deep playoff run or be dismissed. If '26 goes like the first two, that '27 season is going to be a pressure cooker.

LSU fans will be ecstatic if they finish 10-2, particularly if they make the playoffs. However, there are legitimately only 9 spots available instead of 12. Notre Dame has their little carve-out and you know there are going to be two Tulane-and-JMU type teams in the final 12.

The frick they will. After all the shite talking and woofing by the Swamptards on here, anything less than an undefeated national championship season will be viewed as an act of intentional betrayal by Lane.

Beamer and Lebby are almost guaranteed to go in my opinion. Beamer would need to pull a serious rabbit out of the hat.

The new G5 SEC hires won't be fired this season no matter what, but their leashes are going to be really short. Meaning Golesh, Silverfield, and Sumrall.

Beamer, Norvell, Dabo, Lebby are all potential midseason firings.

Matt Rhule and Luke Fickell both recently got affirmations from their respective ADs but another bad season might have them both canned
