Can we get out of UN and NATO now

I mean, if a plague breaks out somewhere, who do we coordinate with?

In a just world, the cover the WHO ran for China in the early days of COVID would result in executions by the hundreds. Leadership would have been lined up against a wall years ago

That’s the easy part. We’ll coordinate with other nations either way.
What this does is prevent the WHO from making decisions on behalf of our sovereign nation, and to utilize our tax dollars for nefarious, anti-scientific purposes.

And refusing to acknowledge how well Taiwan handled things is a part of this as well

Dude we have CIA and military all over the damn globe. You think we'd be in the dark if something breaks out in (insert current year)?

Ever heard of the CDC?

Everyone else coordinates with us, not the opposite.

You could ask Fauci what to do.

You would tune into The View as usual for guidance

The WHO has been China's sock puppet for a long time, and this was laid bare by WHO's boot-licking of the CCP for their "transparency" in the early days of the pandemic. WHO clearly compromised itself for whatever reason. Maybe corruption, maybe brown-nosing to make sure they could have access to the outbreak data (which is naive and foolish for numerous reasons). Maybe both. Who knows, but IMO they were instrumental in pushing and giving credibility to China's BS cover story.
China has also used WHO to further its "One China" agenda by using its soft power to keep Taiwan out of WHO.
If China's driving, nothing that organization does will be in our best interests.
Glad we are out of it. The nations of the world don't need another corrupt third party to mitigate pandemics. That's what our governments are for.
ETA: Fun fact. The US was the single largest contributor to WHO's budget, of course. Statistica
Probably should have thought about that before cozying up to China!

Now, now, settle down. You will get your free vaccine and boosters.

For those of us that have no idea idea what you are talking about, please explain.

Its a reference to anytime a person who, because they work in whatever specific industry, tries to sound more important than they are by repeating talking points on social media they heard from somewhere else but try to pass off as their own words and either:
A. Want people to take them seriously
B. Get validation from people who feel the same way
We saw these a lot during 2020, mainly with healthcare workers and among those workers the ones with lower on the totem positions and generally unhappy with life who are trying to stroke their ego and inflate their self worth- hence the high school dropout who became a CNA part.
You also see this similar phenomenon with teachers in regards to ALL things education; social workers in regards to when a maniac disrupting public safety is taken down violently by law enforcement after multiple warnings to cease and desist, and bartenders/waitresses for economic policy because they have to figure out their own tax withholdings.
