Interesting convo with a Rebel fan yesterday

This fan is fairly in the know and says that a big time booster was willing to pony up an extra $20 million to Kiffin to keep him. This on top of a crazy contract money wise they were already willing to offer as well. Just shows how BAD he wanted to coach here.(And how desperate OM was to keep him) The Reb fan says now all of that is going to NIL hence their decent portal class. If true, LK I salute you

I just don’t believe someone threw $20mn in the pot like it was nothing. I am connected (in the broadest sense of the word) with the money LSU collects and have never seen a drop like that. Not even close. Again, maybe it’s all legit but I highly doubt it.

Then why did they? Were you in some way coercing or threatening them. You didn’t even claim it was a friend, you simply said it was a ‘fan’. Why would a fan of one team admit something to a random guy that they didn’t want to admit?
