Mendoza is so autistic in this SVP interview. I love this dude.

He’s so obviously autistic but in a cool and nice way. I feel like he’s going to go to he NFL and be a film hawk that picks defenses apart for years to come. But he’s going to be memeable even more than Jameis.

He calls Tim Tebow “Mr. Tebow”.

It literally just happened. I’ll add when it’s posted on X.

There’s just something about him that I don’t like.

The idea that he will have any NFL success is laughable, he’s such an elite passer that his coach called ZERO passing plays on first and second down the entire game. They also chose to run the ball on 3rd and 6, 3rd and 8, and 3rd and 17 - that tells you what kind of of confidence they have in his arm. This Indiana team was carried by their defense and run game.

Scorching hot take.

They were 12th nationally in rushing offense on the season, 52nd in passing—ran a ball control game, and passed with efficiency. They played their game and didn’t let Miami’s DL take them out of it. And never trailed doing it.

Let the record show that you are retarded. Come back and eat your crow in a year or 2. You have no idea what you are looking at.

Meh, they were getting chunks of yards on the ground early on, and Miami's pass rush was mauling IU's O-Line. Cignetti even said after the game that they couldn't block and Mendoza kept getting hit.

You don't call that 4th down back shoulder throw to Becker if you don't have confidence that your Heisman Trophy winner can make the throw.

Maybe you’re right. His Beaver Cleaver schtick grates on me. Almost comes off as fake.

The only other athlete that I know of that paints himself as an ultra straight arrow that I can think of is Scottie Scheffler, I believe Scheffler much more than I believe Mendoza.

Meh people hated Tebow for being himself as well. Just a baw that was raised right and loves the Lord living his dream.

Nothing to hate.

I didn’t hate Tebow for that, I hated him cause he played for Florida.

My dislike for Mendoza has 0 to do with him being an outspoken Christian. I’m glad he is.

Not a popular take of course but I'm a little iffy on him too. There's polite and then there's what are you up to polite
