This is absolutely true. I travelled to Vancouver, BC, a few years ago. There is a HUGE Asian population there.

Mark Carney is supposed to be an economic genius, yet he keeps fumbling trade with the USA because he's pissed that Trump leveled the playing field instead of letting them continue to rape us, and also stopping Canada from knowingly allowing transshipments of Chinese steel into the USA

True they can trade with whomever and we can stop trading with whomever. Of course there eastern provinces rely on a pipeline that comes through America soil so they may have a bit of a problem. Their whole logistics companies rely on American deliveries as does their exports. Their western provinces are a bit underwhelmed by their leadership and participation could be tricky.

People seem to forget this. A lot of Canadian oil has to flow into Washington state before shipping to China. Canada uses a ton of our western ports for their trade and we could really cripple them if we chose to do so.
