Between approximately October 2017 and July 2024, in exchange for illegal kickbacks and bribes, Wasef and Antao referred Medicaid recipients to the social adult day cares and the home health company. The defendants also paid illegal kickbacks and bribes to Medicaid recipients for social adult day care services and home health care services that were billed to Medicaid but were not provided or that were induced by kickbacks and bribes. Wasef and Antao used multiple business entities to launder the fraud proceeds and generate the cash used to pay kickbacks and bribes. In connection with their guilty pleas, Wasef and Antao agreed to collectively forfeit approximately $1 million. Wasef and Antao are the sixth and seventh individuals, respectively, to plead guilty in this case.

This type of shite happens nationwide. Naive to not think we are all being defrauded of tax dollars by people of all colors and backgrounds, and should easily be a nonpartisan issue. The biggest hindrance to that is half the country doesn’t pay taxes.

We need to establish a world where you cannot win a seat, left or right, unless you talk heavily during your campaign about going after fraud.

At this point we know it’s everywhere. These politicians literally owe it to us to make sure the money they take from us isn’t used for this bullshite.

If nothing is done then we need to start a war over it.

How on earth does this situation, and politicians hypothetically doing nothing, not constitute starting a war?

Doubtful, not in Brooklyn.
Jury nullification

JN and activist judges will be a huge obstacle for us on getting any justice whatsoever from here on out.

And I honestly dont care what it costs to pursue fraud. The effects of not punishing liars, cheaters, and thieves is far greater than the collateral from pursuing the fraud.

THIS is a long standing nuisance - but is recently an existential PROBLEM

We must limit privilege to vote to ONLY people who are self sufficient and receive NO federal tax payments that they didn't EARN.

DEMOCRATs have used our natural compassion to help anyone in NEED to all the assistance we can summon forth.

DEMOCRATs have taken advantage of that to invite the entire 3rd world to come and get on our tax-funded gravy train - only so long as the vote for democrats 100%. Many GOPers are on the gravy train too.

This loophole in our benevolent nature must be counterbalanced by our even more basic survival instinct.

I've been wary of this 'free stuff' society for decades, but I am really surprised at the magnitude of the theft we are witnessing now. Nothing short of criminal prosecution of the officials whose misuse of their authority to allow this must occur. And if they profited by monetary kickbacks, their punishment must be far greater than if they only did it to secure a voting advantage.

It’s an isolated incident. That doesn’t mean that the fraud in Minnesota is real. It’s just Trump punishing Tim Walz for running against him.- SFP

Some of them need to spill the beans on the whole sordid mess. Everything they know, anyway.

The shite is beyond ridiculous. All these learing centers and adult care centers set up in buildings that look like a convenience store or other joint straight out of the 80s TV shows '227' or Mama's Family.

No adult care equipment. No playground equipment. Just a building.
