Play should have been over

What in the world??? Is that really a legit pick?

That was a fricking travesty. He doesn’t need “firm possession” once the play is dead. JFC.

Josh underthrew it.
Its a pick by definition.

I still don't know what a catch is.
It was close, but Steratore was immediately saying it wasn't firmly controlled. I mean, what else do they need to see when Cooks is almost laying on the ground when the ball is ripped away?

Yea I thought cooks had it

Have to complete the process of the catch. Problem is no one can say what that means with any certainty.

Have to survive the ground with the ball.

That either has to be a catch and down by contact or just an incomplete. How can it be an interception when he is laying on the ground with the ball and the defensive back takes it away after he would be down on any other play? Makes no sense
Posted on 1/17/26 at 7:17 pm to infantry1026
fricking refs absolutely decided that game
Posted on 1/17/26 at 7:20 pm to infantry1026
I wish it would have been ruled a catch because I hate the Donkeys but the ruling was the receiver did not possess the ball and to make it worse the ball never hit the ground before the Denver player snatched it away.
