Absolutely, the best king cake I've ever tasted! Bavarian Cream is the best, or as a coonass would say, TaTa La Boo Eee!
You can find them at Small Cakes on Highland right across from Ruffino's restaurant. Go get you some and tell me if you agree.

SMALL CAKES...BIG TASTE!

Hell, this reminds me of Dick Bruce's commercials about McKenzie's Bakery products.

Do you have a vested interest in the place to post such a rave review???

Opening a Smallcakes franchise generally costs between $70,000 and $120,000, which includes a $30,000 initial fee, with ongoing costs like a low 3% royalty fee and no specific advertising fee mentioned, offering a relatively low-capital entry into the specialty food market with strong brand support and proprietary recipes.

I really like a good jambalaya, and the best I've ever tasted comes from Pot & The Paddle in Gonzales.
I love a good spaghetti with meatballs, and Ruffino's offers the best of that around this area.
Should I continue to satisfy your curiosity?

One doesn't have to have a vested interest in a business in order to rave on their product.

If your king cake needs filling to taste good, then your king cakes suck!

Is it homemade bouille or is it that same flavorless commercialized Bavarian slop that comes in a big industrial-sized bag that everybody uses nowadays?

Yeah, I just checked their FB page and there's definitely a connection to Lutcher. Mighty suspicious post.

This is the best part of a king cake, in this poster's opinion.
