Why was Babu so mad at Jerry?

Sure he had to take out another loan but that aside, it’s not like anyone was going to the dream cafe. May as well have taken the shot at going all in on a pakistani restaurant. It was headed for failure either way.

i seem to recall he got deported back to Pakistan because Jerry forgot to show up at his immigration hearing

Jerry was getting his mail while Babu was visiting Pakistan and Jerry didn’t tell him his VISA renewal app came in

Actually it wasn't. Elaine was getting Jerry's mail while he was gone. Babu's mail got delivered to Jerry on accident. Elaine was a bit lazy getting it back to Jerry. So, in order of fault:
Babu for not being on top of his own stuff and taking responsibility for his own life (including the restaurant decision)
Immigration for having a terrible system
USPS for delivering to the wrong box
Elaine for waiting so long to get Jerry his mail

frick Babu. Those episodes always bother me because Jerry was not, in fact, a very bad man.

I think he converted the restaurant to Pakistani because of Jerry and lost the few customers he had when he was serving beans and franks
