I don’t understand how this happens to a celebrity. There are so many websites that allows you to solicit safely and without fear of arrest. How an actor like Daniel Stern falls for a sting in 2025 is beyond me.

Wild how the law determines what is and what is not prostitution. Basically any transactional relationship is a form a prostitution, including some marriages.

If you just solicit someone for their "time" and "companionship" there is nothing illegal about that.
If you solicit someone specifically for sex, then that is illegal everywhere except an established, licensed brothel in the state of Nevada.
Basically, sites like Tinder are legal sex hookups. Approaching a sidewalk gilr and asking how much for a ZJ, is illegal.
