You don’t have to 75% will be gone after one year. It’s not about making them happy, it’s about the cream rising to the top

You don’t. You have them keep you happy. The ones that pull it off get a raise and the others get gone.

The better question is why do we keep signing these mediocre WR? And what kind of WR signs with a program without a QB?

All schools carry 10 plus Wrs on a roster. It’s an issue everywhere and happens every year and it gets figured out.

Look at where a ton of these guys are coming from. It sounds pie in the sky but I’d bet a number of them are just thrilled to be playing at this level, contribute on ST, etc.

Not everyone is going to be in the first round and teams get these types of players every year. Difference in the past was that each incoming didn’t get posted and analyzed on social media and the rosters were smaller.

I think it's inevitable that several will transfer next year.

They will all compete and the coaches will see who are the best and fit the scheme the best.

The winners will stick around and the backups will transfer or wait their turn. Thats the reality of today's game unfortunately

You won’t. Some of these WR’s will be in the portal this time next year. Some maybe after the spring. And that’s ok

Isn't it 105 roster spots now? This could just be the new way to do it.

We need special teams guys, gunners, punt returners, kick off returners Etc. I don't think everyone of these is necessarily brought in to catch footballs offensively. Just need speed on the outside. Even Hilton had a impact on special teams last year downing punts.
