JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - An 18-year-old accused of killing two people when he was 16 has been arrested again on charges of armed carjacking and fleeing from police.

Damarion Jones was arrested Tuesday on Copper Road, just six days into the new year. This time, he was denied bond.

Court documents show Jones was accused of killing Harrison Williams and Jordan White in May 2023.

Prosecutors say both were shot during armed robberies in Jackson, one on West McDowell Road and the other on Brisbane Lane, just weeks apart.

Jones was 16 at the time of the alleged murders.

While held at the Henley Young Detention Center, Judge Adrienne Wooten granted Jones a $350,000 bond.

The bond did not require Jones to pay any money upfront. He was also ordered to wear an ankle monitor around the clock.

In February 2025, a judge issued a bench warrant after Jones failed to show up for court.

A month later, Judge Wooten revoked that warrant.

Jones is set to go to trial on January 19, 2026 on two counts of murder.

Activist judges are allowing the small percentage of repeat violent offenders to terrorize society with little to no accountability.

When will we hold the judges accountable? I get they are voted in, but there needs to be an annual review of their verdicts other than when a news stations sheds light on these abominations.

This could all be taken care of with a short rope and a tall tree.

How do you revoke a warrant that another judge has placed without proper justification. She needs the boot.

IT was a $700,000 bond. $350K for each count.

I wish they’d say whether he was charged as a juvenile. Of course, he shouldn’t have been but could explain the leniency. $700k bond is steep but putting a lien on a home for bail would get it done.

I get letting people out/off on non-violent offenses but murder? Armed robbery? Cmon.

This is what you routinely vote for.
