I really don't think anyone is in the mood now or later for an ugly Republican primary. Even Marco Rubio has said he will not leapfrog JD Vance. Not everyone feels this way

We do primaries in this country. At least the GOP does. I want to vote for the candidate I like.

Agreed. For how many years now has the Democrat and Republican candidates been chosen for us if by trickery?

It just seems early. There have been times in political history USA Politics that a certain political party showed reverence to the party's leader or president.

Bernie Sanders says hold my beer.

Competition yields the best outcome, it is a sign of a healthy system.

I hope we have half a dozen. I like Vance but there should be no name calling, clear the field for Vance talk from DJT. Though there probably will be.

I like DeSantis. He's a good Governor.

I hate that phrase. So damn dramatic.

Ron is a dinosaur. He would have been against the invention of the car and the cotton gin, too. Had he been around during that time.

I truly hope AI is the central debate of the 28 primary. This is a good sign.

DeSantis is irrelevant. Elon will make sure he is crushed in 2028.

Why?

Elon donated $10 million to Ron last cycle.

I like JD but what has he accomplished compared to Ron or Rubio?

Having DeSantis as Governor is one of my favorite things about living in Florida. He’s been an absolute beast here.

But, when he ran in the 2024 Presidential primaries, he wasn’t the same man. I don’t know what happened, or who gave him advice, but he got away from everything that made him great as Governor.

He went from a fire and brimstone Conservative to a milquetoast, meek weanie. I didn’t recognize him. If he wants to have any chance moving forward, he’s got to stay true to himself. Unless, THAT was his true self.

TIFWIW…

Im sure the Orange is a nhazi comment by JD isnt forgotten with DJT

Rubio is on fire and seems Orange is pumping him up. Plus hes the one speaking with all the World leaders so they are comfortable with him

That could have been Ron.

It’s funny how hardcore MAGA won’t let go of the Ron hate just bc he ran against Trump yet completely brushes away the fact Vance was a full on never-Trumper a few years ago.
