Do we think Chambliss staying at OM means he gets 6th year approved?

It feels like if he telegraphed that he was staying at OM that the NCAA may have more leniency and approve his waiver.

I just never trusted that the NCAA would play ball in a scenario that favored LSU. That never seems to happen.

Hope he goes pro though and leaves OM in the dust.

Not happening, he will make more money at Ole Miss.

Nobody is offering him what OM did. We will soon get the last laugh.

they better hope so. If he goes to NFL, they may be in trouble. Simmons is already set to transfer to Mizzou so that would be their top 2 guys gone with a lot of the big time transfers already spoken for.

Yes. He wasn’t getting it if he wanted to come to LSU

100% just to stick Lane bc he left a playoff team and showed their flaws in the time chart!

No doubt. It also puts pressure on the NCAA that he's agreed on a new deal.

Smart move is to say your staying at Ole Miss now. Not worth the backlash of saying anything else in the event you don't get your 6th year approved.

Could you imagine he says he's entering the portal, then doesn't get his 6th year approved. Would get unnecessary hell from OM people and writers in general.

Say your staying and then when the 6th year decision is made decide what's in his best interest.

He's trying to say chronic tonsillitis caused him not to play, but Ferris State has to agree that was the reason. They are not.

I do not think he will get his waiver and he will be in the NFL draft in 2026.

No, we think Chambliss wants to be remembered in a positive light at Ole Miss because Chambliss knows he’s getting drafted day 1 or day 2 at the latest. PR move.

They’re trying to say Tonsilitis caused him to be benched. Ferris State disputed it and said he didn’t play full year because he got beat out that year not because of the tonsillitis.

Ole Miss filed another appeal yesterday and hired some big shot lawyer. They are pretty confident he will get another year. frick it. I hope he does get it and we go to their house next year and smoke em in front of all their fans.

I think kid said ok staying at OM because he knows he won’t get waver. This way OP fans love kid to the end. Why say going to LSU if you know you won’t get waver. That screws both schools.

Hopefully he got a signing bonus and then leaves for the draft.
