Weird source, didn't age well. I do remember China boasting about this crap when they supplied it. Can't target an RQ-170 that's for sure. I feel like china's military might be like Russia's, just complete arse but they never fight anybody to prove it's not.

F-22s and F-35s out of Roosevelt Roads PR are laughing at this daunting military capability.

Assuming this is accurate, you can bet most Chinese tech is crap. What they have that works is generally stolen. The rest is generally hot garbage.

I read that the F35 was used as a decoy, to provide lots of noise to cover for incoming Helos that dropped Delta Force onto roof to extract maduro.

There was video of an RQ-170 landing, i presume it was used. It's not new that certain frequencies can detect a stealth aircraft, you can't target it, but you know it's there.
Seems like their junk couldn't even do that.

I would be surprised if we had boots on the ground and inside the compound before the main assault started. The helicopters might have just been the taxi out

Add to that either apaches or DAPS flying all over that country fricking shite up. They got wrekt and would almost save more face saying they had no AA capabilities.
This is a bad look for the Chiners

Tough to work when the entire country is without power.

And they are masters at theft and copying of IP and you’re right, not great at anything innovative. All copy and paste.

Well thanks to
quote:like myself and George W Bush and Karl Rove and the other names they get tossed around we were able to test out our military technology against the Russians and the Chinese

Of course we did. The U.S. and Israel have by far the best intelligence networks in the world.
When you have a military operation like this go off without a problem or a casualty, it’s due to precise intel.

It probably is, but it's also been reported that power was cut and cell phones were dead. It's likely that we used targeted jamming technology on top of everything else.
You start putting all the pieces together, and combine it with the fact that this was EXCLUSIVELY a "detain alive" operation, and it truly looks like one of if not the most impressive and well planned operations our military has ever pulled off. I'm sure there are many things we've done that were far more impressive comparatively, but it's hard to argue against this being among the most publicly known operations.
Where are the usual reports of massive innocent collateral damage? None, because there is/are none. We struck the center of a big city in the most secure facility in their country and extracted both their dictator and his wife, alive, in and out before anyone even knew what the hell was happening.
What our boys did in Abbottabad is unreal and I'm forever thankful and give them endless credit for it. But this Caracas thing was unbelievably ballsy and effective. I cannot remember ever hearing about anything like this, with such a successful result.

Agree, i think we had a bit more help this time from the CIA. 2nd amendment reigns supreme, small arms fire could have definitely done damage to those blackhawks just hovering. But if you're an a-hole dictator that takes everyones guns away, it bites you in the arse.

We probably knew where it was positioned.
Missile probably took it out long before there were any aircraft to detect.

I would take this with a grain of salt. The Chinese are known for supplying third-rate equipment to their client states. Lots of their railroad and hydro dam equipment going into various South American and African "developing nations" is really low rent and kind of designed to fail, so then the country that just borrowed money from China to buy stuff from China has to now borrow more money from China to buy parts from China.
Also, China knows there is only one country going to invade Venezuela, thats the USA, and we werne't going to let their radar stop us, Grade A or Grade F, so why bother shipping the Grade A stuff?
