Who would you want to be your butler/servant?

I'm going to go with Coleman.

Can I be Batman but have Hobson as my butler?

I want to hear him tell Catwoman, "Steal something casual."

Coleman was 100% complicit in the Dukes' scheme to ruin Louis' life. Changed the locks on him and then pretended he had no idea who Louis was when he tried to get in. And this is the man you want in your employ? Give me Alfred. That's a ride or die mother****er if there ever was one.

Like Denholmee Elliot and Michael Caine, but I’d have to go with Alfredbecause he covers a lot of duties…

Hobson, because he knows what's good for you and has your back.

Alfred in the comics was a former British intelligence officer and just an overall resourceful guy. And he seems to able to keep a secret.

Hobson! Because he was the most quotable.

“Good luck in prison”

“Steal something casual”

“ usually one must go to a bowling alley to meet a woman of your stature.”

“Yes. As we can all see, it’s a lovely day, which would seem to indicate that the night is over.”

Many many others as well

Alfred regularly talked shite to BATMAN and not only lived to tell about it but was never chastised for it. Like, in basically every iteration. Thats how much respect Bruce Wayne had for Alfred.

Alfred: Did you get mauled by a tiger?
BW: It was a dog.
Alfred: eh?
BW: Its was a BIG dog.

To say nothing of all the smart arse dry/glib shite BTAS version Alfred used to tell him.

Alfred all the way. Coleman has zero loyalty and also once got lost in his own museum so frick that guy.

Coleman is the least loyal though. Alfred will die for you.

Coleman was not Louis’ employee, the Duke’s paid him. But once he realized what he did, he had their backs and gave them all his money.

Alfred is the penultimate ride or die butler

So Alfred

1,000X Alfred

Coleman calls the ambulance when you get shot

Hobson laughs at you when you get shot, as he updates his resume

Alfred jumps in front of the gun to take the bullet for you

There's a Bird Cage joke here, but this board isn't big on that film.

That's a shame. Some incredible performances in that flick.

Hank Azaria was a scene-stealer in particular.

I'd add Agador Spartacus to the butler debate but, while he'd be entertaining for a few days, he'd bring too much drama with him.
