“We are going to run it essentially”
Venezuela is now free!

Transition is a buzzword

Is this gonna be like “transitory” inflation?
Honest question, not even trolling. What is the timeline here

This is the difference between Conservatives and Liberals. Liberals are always in lock step with their leaders. Conservatives can vote for someone but still disagree with them on certain things.
I largely support the attack last night and bringing Maduro to justice. I do not agree and am not thrilled to hear about us being back into nation building.
What's the time frame Trump? 1 year? 5 years? 20 years? We don't want to be in the nation building business.
I voted for Trump in 2016, 2020 and 2024. I don't like this decision. The only way it ends well is if the U.S. military destroys all military capabilities of the Maduro regime, which then allows the legitimate winner of the Venezuela elections to take power.

Well that strategy would have been very short sighted and ill fated.

We're gonna have to be present there if their intention is to get major US oil industry in there and upping the extraction capacity.

Don’t really see this as nation building. We didn’t destroy the whole country nor did we invade with thousands of troops. I think we maintain stability while a new leader stands up their team.

Literally committing a coup to steal their oil. George W. Bush again without the pretense.
I never wanna hear about globalism from MAGA again since they support using the military to topple governments to enrich multinational corporations.

You think just one person was running things? What good would it do to go in and out and watch another dictator take over. We have to weed out the drug cartels and then they can have elections to decide who should run it.
Its very important to get this right as Trump is oir last chance to fix our hemisphere. There will be more arrests. Also have to get rid if their hired gangs who protected him and that takes time.

Here's the thing I think Trump has working in his favor. There is no actual Maduro still there for his backers to support. Trump has put it out there in clear imagery that Maduro is out of the equation.

Lol no.
We paid for and built their entire Venezuelan oil industry and it was stolen from the US taxpayer by Chavez communist regime.
It was one of the largest heists ever undertaken in fact.

Eh, it’s their oil by right. That’s the risk you play when building infrastructure in a foreign nation. They may decide their national interests outweigh your property rights.
