Sitting over a food plot. Buddy of mine killed an 8 point yesterday that was chasing a doe hard. Not far from where I am sitting now. Let’s hope more does get hot.
Good luck baws.

Set up where I saw a buck chasing a doe yesterday. Hopefully one will come through, but knowing my luck, they’ll pass where I was yesterday. Speaking of my luck, yesterday evening was a shite show. Had a guy walk up on me as I was setting up, which is all good. He went down to the east when he saw me. Heard him shoot at 4:45. At 5:15 or so I could hear his 4 wheeler coming through the woods. Got his deer and then came back through at 5:35, running over all kinds of shite, making a ton of noise.
Ruined the entire evening, knowing damn well where I was hunting. Some people just have no respect at all for other hunters.
Anyways, rant over. Good luck everyone!

And he probably shot a pig. You’ll get a good one before the end.

Started walking in an hour before daylight thinking I was alone. Appears 2-3 guys were dropped off and their lights were shining almost exactly where I’ve been setting up. Hopefully the last minute audible works out. Praying my dad is able to shoot one today. Get em fellas

Box stand over food plot

Back in my box stand. Yesterday afternoon 5 minutes before shooting light ended the giant nanny doe I have on camera was finally about to step out and do it for me. Well some guest hunters decided to come down the road talking loudly at the same time and that big doe along with all the smaller ones took off. Even in club on private land you can get fricked over

Was a grumpy hunter last night.

A little shocked I haven’t seen anything yet today.
Was covered up with does and a 6 pt chasing them yesterday evening. Had my chances but I hate tracking at night.
This stand is 150 yrs from my back porch. I can wait.

Box stand sitting on a couple shooting lanes.
A light drizzle started up before shooting light as I poured a cup of coffee out the Stanley. Goodness that was a satisfying moment in the stand.

Rut is starting up. Young bucks harassing does, couple 2.5 year olds are starting to follow. No shooters on camera, hoping one of these does getting fat off the Athletix Soybean welfare program attracts a good one.

Hunted this morning on a ridge in the woods surrounded by even taller ridges.
Had a pig come out at dark and get me worked up at daylight but decided to pass on it.

Had two does and yearlings come out a little before 8:30 and feed around under me in the bottom.

Sadly no buck behind them for whatever reason.

Trying to decide where to go this evening.
