I will have to go back and look through my chats, but there have been times where I thought it would give me a reply that was "woke" or politically correct and it didn't sugarcoat anything.

One time I did ask it something about transgender people and the whole bathroom situation and it started off saying something about not discriminating against people going to the bathroom that fits what they identify as.. I pushed back saying that the problem is that it opens the door for people to say they ID as one thing so that they can go into a certain bathroom because they have ill intent and it started to back off of the stance it was taking.

I am paraphrasing, but it was saying something like "no one should have to feel uncomfortable going to a public bathroom because they are concerned about someone falsely IDing as a gender that would justify going into a certain bathroom" so you can absolutely reason with it.

And for the people saying "it can be programmed to do whatever someone wants it to" that's not entirely true. A more accurate statement would be that it is as good as the information it is fed. And then from there they can code it on what to do with certain information.

At one point you could take a picture of yourself, feed it to ChatGPT and ask it to tell you how old you look. It would use every bit of information in the picture. Every line in your face, then months later.. Maybe closer to a year later, I asked it to tell me what age I looked and it told me its ability was taken away and it said something like "because there are people who don't like to hear the truth.

You can set the personality traits you want it to have. Sarcastic, nerdy, dry, etc etc and that can have an impact on how it delivers information to you, but I wouldn't say "its work as frick".
