When did you realize LSU had an inept offense?

I think the easy answer would be struggling when they struggled to sustain drives vs La Tech. But any team can have an off game.

When Ole Miss was daring us to run the ball and dropping 8 on 1st down - that’s when I knew we were fricked this year.

We looked bad against Clemson. Against Tech I had Jennings flashbacks. So Tech

We’ve played like complete dog shite against in state schools as of late so I thought the LA Tech game (though frustrating) was just a one off. I got very concerned during the Florida game and then knew for a fact that our offense sucked when Ole Miss’ mediocre DL completely abused us rushing 3.

LaTech, when they couldn't pick up 3rd and 1 or 2 against them running it, I knew there was going to be big problems.

Clemson it at least looked like we had a gameplay against a good front, and knowing our oline was new and inexperienced. And nuss made every damn throw, even some nice down field ones (td called back, bad call). After that it was oh shite this is our offense, and that's it. Once other teams had 3 games of film of it, it was over for the yr. Every team knew they could bring 4 and stop the run, or that we wouldn't even try to run. And drop 7 in pass defense and eventually get stops.

Was pretty obvious in Tech game something was wrong with Nuss thinking back to the Clemson game and they way he threw the ball. I thought maybe in the Clemson game they just gave Clemson's D respect and tried to game manage. After seeing Nuss throw a ball 20 yards behind a WR on a short arm I knew something was wrong with him. Complain about anything you want - even his accuracy on outside throws - but Nuss never lacked arm strength.

LT but could still be in denial about it

UF where we were gifted 5 hits and one for 6…and still barely won because the offense was so inept. Then it was clear this team had no shot to do anything of note. Plus Kelly’s PC let me know that fat a-hole was in total denial about it, so fixing any of it woukd be unlikely

The ineptitude of the players and coaches assembled on offense was remarkably bad

When they couldn't run the ball against USC last year in Vegas, particularly after all the shite they talked before the game about running the ball.

Last season when we could not run the ball with Campbell, Dellinger, Jones and Frazier starting in the OL. Chester at Center was steaming hot garbage, but it should have been better. (Even with the "Sloandavis Monster" in there)

When Cauble got called spoiled. I knew BK had no answers to fix it.

The writing was on the wall for the Florida game. The problem was that we won that game and BK gave us his bullshite “we’d played to our strengths”.

Florida. We went three & out on our first three possessions in that game. It was literally painful to watch. I had NEVER seen an LSU team do that, even during the dark ages from 1989-1994.

Ole Miss.

Drop eight rush three? I gave benefit of doubt for Fla and LTech.

When Thomas, Nabers, and the rest of Orgerons players left, it was over.

Last year against UCLA in the heat. We should have been able to run for 250. Pass pro was OK but run blocking was turable again. I said then that the O-line coach has to go.

It was a broiler on that field, and the Tigers compensated for the exceptional heat by wearing the hottest uniforms in their arsenal. I think LSU and UCLA each got a pass for that game, due to the brutal conditions under which it was played.

This basically. I knew we still couldn't run the ball based on fall practice reports, but in the games against LA Tech and Florida you could tell that something was physically wrong with Nuss and I knew we were screwed. The decision to play Nuss against Southeastern made me lose my mind.

Opening drive (I think) interception against Tech when Nuss left it about 10 yards short.
