I keep seeing new tunnels most every day. I take great joy in stepping on them. It feels like a fresh set of insoles Will he eventually leave or do I HAVE TO take measures? If so, what's best?

Juicy Fruit gum rolled up. Punch a hole in top of the tunnel and drop it in.

They love it, but can’t pass it

Guaranteed to work.

Are you sure it's moles and not voles? I thought I had moles but I'm leaning toward voles the more i look at it. They make little holes around your foundation and driveway where they pop out but they make tunnel too. Tearing my place up.

I have them too. Thing is, my dogs are worse. If I leave the dogs out long, I walk out to trenches dug all across my Zoysia lawn. I'd rather have the stupid mole tunnels! My cat brought a live one in the house just last night, at let it go.

Every time I see a tunnel pop up I use poison peanuts every 10-12” of the tunnel. Over the past couple of years the number of tunnels have decreased as long o stay on top of them.

Move. I’ve been fighting them over 20 years. Tried everything except Juicy Fruit gum. I’ll give it a try.

I’ve had a lot of success with the sonic stakes in the ground.

Might you expand this a little? I'm sure more than just myself want to know. Thanks

One option is to get a dachsund and a large mutt that likes to dig. The dachsund will find the moles and the mutt will quickly dig them out. The downside is you will have to rent a tiller to repair your yard. Said repairs will only be good for a few months till the moles are back. Ask me how I know this.

Another option is one I saw my neighbor doing when I lived in GA. Get yourself several hundred railroad spikes. Begin hammering them into the ground in a ten foot line about 1" apart. Then make another similar line which forms a "V" with the first line. At the point of the "V", place one of those skewer/spike type mole-ka-bob traps.

I do not recommend either option, but both will catch/kill moles

Get rid of their food source and they will leave. Treat your yard for the grubs they like to eat, and they will soon find new homes.

I have tried literally everything. Nothing has worked long-term. Anyone saying something works for sure has never had a real problem with them.

So, I gave up. I accepted their presence. I'll kill them if I see them actively digging, but otherwise we live side-by-side.

The amount of false solutions to killing moles is almost unprecedented. Endless anecdotal evidence that the mole was killed but in reality it just stopped digging in that area like it would've normally.

Unless you see its cold dead body then assume its still alive. dogs #1 solution followed by steel traps.

sounds like some success with these?

The cat and dog don't give a shite about whatever is digging through the yard.

I've killed a half dozen or so with those scissor-like traps.

Ive had some success with these too. They are battery or solar powered spikes that send out an electrical pulse every few seconds that repels them
